I tried to capture emotions and movements of actors in this project. I finished these work when I watched a Chinese opera in a theater. In Chinese opera, figures' face and body language have very strong expression. They can tell good stories without lots of items. And this is also what I try to approach in my works.
在做這個系列的時候，我帶著畫具走進表演廳，用最快的速度去捕捉演員的表情與肢體動作所完成的作品。我喜歡表演藝術的原因在於演員的肢體表達的事情很多，不需太多道具交代就可以說一個好故事，這點正是我在畫面上所追求的。
